I've been absent from DW for ages, but I thought I might stick my nose back in over here. Is there anything you would like to have for this comm to help it get up and going? A community challenge (similar to the founder challenges you can find over on LJ?), something else?

A community challenge might not be a bad idea, but I would wonder how many people would participate. It seems like, since so much of the Community community is still on LJ, most of the Sims community on DW is about content creation. (Of course, I also have no idea who's crossposting and how much, etc.)

Anyway, no way of knowing unless you try it out, right?

I actually would be one of those! I started getting into TS2 long after switching completely to DW, so all I know is from occasionally peeking at the LJ communities to see what's going on because... the ones here are so quiet.

(And then my lurking is regularly interrupted by the new "click x to make it go away" ads, argh. Er, which may be "new" as of last year, for all I know.)

I just kept forgetting to log in over here and see if anything was happening, or to post my sims stuff here.

Adblock will be your friend with that, I'm thinking!

Mostly I do the same with LJ, though. Technically I still have sheelal over there, but I tend to just log into DW and keep forgetting about LJ, except for the communities, and even there I tend to be lazy and forget to log in for locked posts. Probably it just matters where most of your friends are; all of mine have journals here, so.

...also, I was about to say "but I use Safari", but then decided to Google first in case that was irrelevant. Turns out it is!
